Every year, San Patricio Electric Cooperative hosts an Annual Members Meeting. It’s a time to gather with our membership, share important financial information, announce the results of our director election and occasionally vote on other matters, such as bylaw changes. Of course, the door prizes are great too!

We’re part of your community, and we look forward to the opportunity to connect with you. While safe, reliable and affordable electricity is crucial to our mission, improving the quality of life for our members is at the core of what we do every day.

This year’s Annual Members Meeting is scheduled for September 22 at the Grand in Beeville. 

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the meeting begins at 9:30. During the registration period, our members can take part in a free health fair, conducting by Christus Spohn Health Services. A light breakfast of muffins and beverages will also be provided to those attending.

At that time, we also set up booths where members can visit with our employees and learn about the services and perks available to SPEC members.

One of the highlights of our annual meeting is our director election. Our cooperative is run by members just like you—men and women from the communities we serve. These directors serve three-year terms and elections are held on a rotating basis.

This year, we are holding an election for director districts #1 and #5. Prior to the annual meeting, you have the opportunity to vote in our election online or by mail. We encourage you to cast your vote when the ballots arrive in September! The winning candidates will be announced at our Annual Meeting on September 22.
