Our Board of Directors’ election results were announced at our Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 24. The results of that election are as follows:

District 1: Bennie Vickers

District 3: Tryne Mengers

District 4: Daren Wilder

Director-at-Large: Bobby Bauch

There were 770 ballots cast in this election, of 7,875 eligible voters. Of those ballots, 623 were mailed in and 147 were cast online.

Mr. Mengers, Mr. Wilder and Mr. Bauch are incumbent directors and ran unopposed in this election. They were each elected to serve a three-year term on San Patricio Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors.  

There were two candidates on the ballot for the District 1 board position. Todd Schendel received 331 votes and Bennie Vickers received 413 votes. Mr. Vickers was elected to serve a two-year term on the board, which completes the remaining term for the district. The District 1 board position had been vacant since the passing of director Aaron Salge in September of last year.
