Join us for our 80th Anniversary Annual Members Meeting this Saturday, September 22. The meeting will be held at the Grand in Beeville. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the meeting begins at 9:30.
During the registration period, our members can take part in a free health fair, conducting by Christus Spohn Health Services. Those that participate should fast for at least 8 hours beforehand, and should bring a self-addressed stamped envelope for their results. A light breakfast of muffins and beverages will be provided to those attending.
At that time, we also set up booths where members can visit with our employees and learn about the services and perks available to SPEC members.
One of the highlights of our meeting is our director election. Our cooperative is run by members just like you—men and women from the communities we serve. These directors serve three-year terms and elections are held on a rotating basis. The winning candidates of our 2018 election, which concluded on September 17, will be announced at our Annual Meeting on September 22.
Following the meeting, we will hold a door prize drawing. A number of generous vendors have donated door prizes for our members. You must be present to win!

Our Annual Meeting will be held at a new location this year. The Grand is located at 2641 U.S. Highway 59 in Beeville.
